Online filing vs mailing N-400

Hey guys,

I thought I had seen a thread about this but can’t find it anymore.. would you recommend filing N-400 by mail or online? I remember reading that the website can be buggy but it gets processed faster. Do you still have to mail in all supporting documents or upload them online? Any help would be appreciated!

It is slightly faster to file online.  Best advice I have is to upload copies of as many documents as you have with your application, and bring all originals, plus any that you do NOT upload, to your interview.

Good luck!

Apply online and yes upload your supportive documents. If you do decide to mail in note that those are being scanned and uploaded online by USCIS such that you end up with an online account/application all the same. This has been the case for many who chose that route in the past few months. Good luck.
