AOS - Do I still need a co-sponsor?

I am in the process of organising everything to file for adjustment of status AOS and have a question I can't quite decide upon.... 

 

At the beginning stages (before arriving in the US) I had a co-sponsor as my partner was not earning enough but now he has a new job (3 weeks in) and is paid hourly, works full time and will make over the 125% poverty line per year - however it is a new job and I am not sure if they will accept this?!

 

Would you recommend still having a cosponsor and waiting to gather all their paperwork or would you file just with my husbands income which is now above poverty line???

if your husband already makes enough, there wouldn't be a need for a cosponsor, but that would be a decision between you guys and the possible sponsor to decide.

10/17/2018                After 136 days of wait in HELL, finally EAD in production

10/21/2018                Card was mailed to me, and yes it said so on a Sunday night, while Vj-ing

10/22/2018                Card was picked up by the USPS

10/24/2018                EAD in hand. F%^&& finally

12/28/2018                Interview has been scheduled. Waiting for notification with date by snail mail

My husband has only JUST started making enough, I am worried they will look at the time in this particular employement and think well what if he looses his job? 

 

I am not sure if working with this salary for 3/4 weeks when we send the paperwork will be good enough - 1 month of pay subs (not the 6 they require) ect....

if you are still are unsure and the sponsor doesnt mind giving you guys a I-864 aka affidaivit of support...go for it. I personally haven't heard or read for that matter anybody being denied for having enough income with a sponsor. Not having enough is always a problem and in your case you just started this new job, or husband did. Take this just a personal recommendation, not a personal experience of mine.

I'd say it's better to be safe than sorry. If your cosponsor doesn't mind I'd say you should continue to have their support. USCIS won't deny you for having a backup, but they will if something were to happen and you didn't meet the requirement anymore.
