Hello,

My wife is traveling to Honduras to complete her visa interview.  On the Marriage Certificate, her name her Surname is listed as my last name.  When she updated her passport, they insisted that her Surname be listed as PATERNALLAST DE MARRIEDLAST.  All of our paper work was submitted with the name listed on her marriage certificate.

Will this pose any problem when she goes to her Visa Interview?

Advice is sincerely appreciated.

Thanks and Blessings.

It didn't match because your maiden name is still what's on your passport and you applied with your new name.

In my case,I changed my passport so as to have y new name on it

If this is something they usually do in Honduras, surely the IO there will have already encountered this situation before and it shouldn't be a problem. There's usually discrepancies between passport and form names anyway, because not everyone changes their passport right after marriage. It might be useful if she still has the old passport, which she used on the form. Good luck!
