Hi ya'll,

My fiance (USC) recieved a letter from NVC saying that they recieved our approval 20th March and that they will be sending it out to the london embassy within a week. Problem is they gave us a LND number but when I go to add the case to the online status USCIS page it says it doesn't exist. Am I doing something wrong?

Love hurts

When you live an ocean away

When you change your sleep schedule to catch a few more moments

When you really need to be held and you have to imagine whilst your partner describes it

When you constantly refresh the USCIS website to see if you're getting any closer

Love Loves

When it repays you with the love of your life

When God finally answered your biggest prayer

When you can live life again in the real world but still have that eternal connection

When you wake up for to the beginning of the rest of your life with the person you fought so hard for

When you love somebody that much

You'll do anything

Yep.. Embassy case numbers can't be tracked online.

LND is a State Dept. Case number. The only way to track the status of your case is to send an email to the Embassy in London with that case number. Wait about a month for Packet 3 to arrive.

Depending on where you are, you can also call DOS at 1-202-663-1225 to see if embassy has scheduled an interview for you.

Hello !

Don't worry... That number is an NVC case number- not a USCIS number ...It's just a matter of not being able to track an LND # through USCIS.

Call the NVC at (603)334.0700 and the prompt will ask you for the NVC case #.

Good Luck & Don't Fret !

You should spend this time collating your packet 3 documents, do not wait for the packet to arrive before doing this. Ensure you have the police certificate this can take up to 40 days (although mine took less than 30) you cannot be scheduled for interview until you have the required documents. The list of documents the embassy will require you to return in packet 3 can be found on the embassy website. Have these documents ready, you may be able to make up some time lost on your earlier RFE.
