So we have our interview in Philadelphia coming up soon, date is TBD since we have  not yet received our letter but the status on the tracker changed on May 17th to 'Interview Was Scheduled'

The evidence we plan to take is;

1) Joint checking account statements (how many months should we go back with these? We opened it in December last year but don't really want to overload the IO)

2) Family car insurance plan

3) Family phone plan

4) Tax returns showing we filed Married Filing Separately

5) Photos together with us, and us and our families

6) Itinerary of our honeymoon to California we took together last August

7) Copy of our drivers licenses showing the same address

What else can we bring?

For the joint bank account, I'd say to bring all the months since you filed. That way, the IO can pick and choose which months to take from you. Better to take more than not enough.

Do you guys have any utility bills with both names on them? Wedding/event invitations from family/friends addressed to both of you, lease/rental agreement with both names, boarding passes are just some other ideas. But your list looks fairly good.

We’re living with the in-laws at the moment, so no rental agreement - signed affidavit perhaps?

Driver's licenses with the same address are perfectly fine for proving you guys live together. I wouldn't bother with a signed affidavit.

Awesome! As I said we haven't received the letter yet, should get it this week sometime I guess - but trying to gather everything ahead of time!

We're doing the same. We have specific things we are going to do but overall, I'm bringing literally everything that has both our names and address on it. Good luck!

hi

so what do you suggest in what is related to affidavit of support? ,

In he interview notice they ask to bring an affidavit of support, if some applicants fill I-865 with supporting documents and send it along with AOS and after biometrics, they change their jobs due to some facts. So for the interview they shall refill a new I-865 form with the new employment and include supporting documents, or just recopy the old form and say your petitioner job has changed? The interview notice dont mention any updated I-865 form and they add between bracket (unless already submitted), so if already submitted there is no need to bring  anew one? and if someone bring a new affidavit of support with a new employment details wont this add confusion to the application and interview

I am actionally facing this issue since my interview is this May 30

Do you have advises?

We took the same stuff, plus me being on my wife’s health insurance. We didn’t have much though as we only filed mid feb. Our interview was very quick and the IO took our photos and joint account info (only after we said we had them).

We took everything in a small suitcase, just in case. In the end we needed very little.

Just stay calm, we were approved at interview Monday and it went very smoothly.
