Sooo, in my spare time on this Sunday evening when I'm missing my honey, I revisited a thought/discussion that I had earlier this year. I went through the last 5 fiscal years of petitions to find the quarters with the lowest amount of Fiance Petitions. Consistently they are late year/early year petitions which means we could see a bit of a speed increase coming up :)

That is my thought and I just wanted to share it. Maybe it's wrong but I really don't care, lol. I need positive right now!

Oh, and you can see the total number of forms received (all types) and same goes for those (1st or 4th ... so Fall and Winter) That's us coming up!!!!! Hopefully they can catch up a little bit. I mean, maybe at least they could be more right on with our timelines and not go past :D :D I would LOVE that!

It looks like they just keep slowing down, and the number of pending cases just keeps going up.

The number of forms received isn't significantly more for the 1st quarter of 2018; it's just USCIS keeps getting slower and slower.

Nahhhh.... I still think that the late Fall & Winter months give them a chance to not fall massively further behind.

There are no numbers for 2018 here. I went 2017 down. Every year there are less applications filed around the 1st of the year. That is a good thing for us who filed around that time give or take a couple months. At least I am thinking so :D

To each their own thoughts! Whether I am right or wrong it doesn't hurt to think positively ❤️

I happen to see the 2018 ones the other day so I was referencing them even though you didn't post them sorry for the confusion.

I think the important number is how many they are finishing, not how many come in :) They are processing less than come in, and there's a backlog... so it's actually getting slower!!!  Until they start to process faster than they are coming in, it will continue to get slower as the backlog increases.

Yes I know there's a backlog but they are always receiving more than they are processing. The numbers always show this so I'm not taking that into account ☺️🤷🏻‍♀️ For the sake of my own sanity lol

i do see that it was between the 3rd quarter of 2016 and the 3rd quarter of 2017 that the numbers got backlogged A $h|t TON!!! I wonder if certain petitions are to blame for that.... I will look out of curiosity
