What you should do now while you are waiting:

- First, make sure that your case has been completed (submitted all fees and documents to NVC). Otherwise, you will not get an interview letter when PD is current. Some people don't know about it, and they are waiting for a long time until they find out that their case has been delayed due to missing required documents.

- Second, make sure that you have provided NVC your current email address, NVC will send interview letter via email. The interview letter may be lost if you change your home address or it will be in Spam folder of your email account.

What you should do if your case is current:

- Check inbox, spam folder or call NVC. When you get an interview letter via email, you can print it into several copies, then take it to the specific hospital to do Medical Examination and vaccination immunization.

- Get a latest police certificate which is valid within 12 months.

- Take color passport-size photographs.

- Gather all required documents, relationship proof for the interview. You should organize them in order and in multiple folders, so you can find it easily when being asked by the Consular Officer, without making a mess, giving a bad impression to the CO that you are nervous and anxious.

You can check the information regarding to required documents in your country via USCIS website: https://travel.state.gov/content/travel/en/us-visas/visa-information-resources/list-of-posts.html
