Group Recall from USCIS for I-751

Hello everyone, 

I got a notice today from USCIS this afternoon based on a group recall for those who got their GC based on marriage.

I am wondering how many people have got this notice.  This is really RIDICULES!!!!!!

I'm sure many,many folks here received that notice since posts began showing up a couple months ago regarding incorrect "Resident Since" dates........it's difficult for me to believe that more than 8,000 cards were issued with this mistake.

Are you surprised? We live in America (in 2018)! What more do you expect from this broken system and this sinking ship? sigh

Same here. I received the mail yesterday too and then I email their email stated on their letter right away since I’ll be having my biometrics for naturalization next week. So here’s part of the letter below; 

 

“On May 14, 2018, USCIS began recalling approximately 8,543 Permanent Resident Cards (also known as Green Cards) due to a production error. The Green Cards were for approved form  I-751, Petition to Remove Conditions of Residence or spouses of U.S. citizens. The cards were printed with an incorrect “Resident Since” date and mailed between February and April 2018.”

 

So all in all there are 8,543 of us. Ugh 😑
