I need your experience with DCF in Manila about the payment method via I-130 petition. I am going to file very soon and pay $535 so,,,, would it be better to pay in cash that would be almost 30,000 pesos on hand?? I have no problem using my credit or debit cards I rather to use BUT I don't know if they prefer cash only. Also,,, I gotta to pay the same with IV fee for $325. Your suggestion would be appreciated on here. Thanks!

From what I read you can pay in USD or PESOS

Specifically, the website from above says this:

Quote

For all other applications and petitions that you submit to this office, you must pay the fees to the U.S. Embassy cashier with either a credit card (Visa, MasterCard American Express or Diner’s Club); cash with U.S. dollars or Philippine pesos; U.S. Postal Money Order in the exact amount; or traveler's check (at least 60 percent must be paid in traveler's checks to receive change in U.S. dollars or Philippine pesos).

So you have those options when paying the initial $535 when you submit your 130. Later during the interview, the embassy's website ( https://ph.usembassy.gov/visas/immigrant-visas/family-based-immigration/the-interview/ ) under "Step 5: Complete the document checklist" has this to say:

Quote

FEES. Immigrant visa application fees may be paid in cash or major credit cards at the Embassy’s Consular Cashier if these have not been paid at the NVC.

Does the fee have to be paid in person if filing for DCF? I ask because this is the route I will be taking after August? I noticed in the steps provided that CENOMAR may be required of me. I lived in the Philippines more than a year, so I am wondering if that also applies to the US Citizen?

Romans 8:28 - And we know that all things work together for the good of those who love God: those who are called according to His purpose.
Hebrews 11:6 - And without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is and that He is a rewarder of those who seek Him.

Were you born in the Philippines?  Need to have been born in the Philippines.

And yes, must pay in person at the embassy.
