Seems to result in a year delay, but not always. So please let us know what they do. The Consulate is the one that decides what to do. I would take evidence of Rehab.

I can't tell you what will be the outcome but apparently when you admit you did MJ, they will send you to a psychiatric evaluation. I had my medical last April & one of the persons lining up with us also was sent for psychiatric evaluation because she said she did MJ in high school. So it may be a standard procedure?

Hello! I was just yhinking that maybe I should update my thread. So, I'm already done with my pscyh. Eval, - daysafter they told me to go back and finish my medical. Psych. Eval only asked be abot personals questions like how was my life and why did i tried MJ, told her that I was curious and i didnt care at that time. After that she said im done. I also asked her if she thinks that my admission will affect my visa, she said "what do you think?" I told her ofc not since its been years and i only tried it. She said, "exactly! This is just to evaluate you. So, everything went well and I actually saw whats inside my folder or the notes because the nurse was like not covering it at all in the counter. It says "class B, full remission"

They didnt give me the results they told me they will forward them to USEM

so guys, my interview is on the 15th, is ther anything i need to worry? Do I have a chance? Ty!

Special mention to Hank and bakxph for helping me calm and go through this. You guys are heaven sent!

I would expect it is just a time issue.

Thanks for the update.

The only thing you have to do is wait and see what happens. That is the time issue. Nobody can tell you exactly what is going to happen. The VO is going to review your file then make a decision. You've done your part.

Yep, looks like a visa can be issued with or without the 1 year ban is the question.
