K1 Algeria Packets 3 and 4?

My case is finally ready, at the embassy.

 

What is the difference between these packets 3 and 4?

 

I know packet 4 is supposed to be received in the email. Is this the same case for packet 3?

 

I have yet to receive either but am expecting the emails soon.

In the Algeria Portal link, it doesn't have any details about a Packet 3, just Packet 4, read here;

Packet 4 Contents (if known):	Includes interview letter and instructions on what to bring with you to embassy
Forms to Consulate?	Bring WHAT Is Listed On Packet 4.  This will include orginals of police clearance, marriage certificates, divorce degree, birth certificate.  Interview letter and medical  Any proofs of relationship

Oh, so they might not issue a packet 3. Packet 4 looks like it contains all the instructions. Hopefully, I get it by email soon. Thanks!

There is no packet 3 from Algeria. You will receive an email within the next few days  (the title of which states "packet IV"). The email will include directions on what steps you should take next.

Did they ask you about the Army records? and how about the police certificates, did they mention anything about countries of previous residence?
