Do I need to bring marriage certificate to biometrics appt?

My name on all my identification documents is still my maiden name since social security won't let me change it yet.

I filed under my married name. Should I bring my marriage certificate for proof of my name, since it'll be different on ID? Does the FBI run both names or just maiden names?

Yes, bring your marriage certificate. I was in the same situation, and I was asked to show my marriage certificate. It's no problem, but they just need to verify that it's really you.

I took my marriage certificate but the officer didn't take it, he said my passport was fine😕

Same, I was told it wasn't necessary. But I guess it's a good precaution.
