On 26th February, my I-130 petition for my wife got approved! Yaay!

And here I am confused about the "next step taken by USCIS/NVC/DOS". The update says that the case was sent to the Department of State for visa processing.

--> So now do I, the petitioner, get a letter from the Dept of State (NVC) or my wife, the beneficiary, get a letter from the Dept of State?

--> Or do we or she or I get an email?

According to the flow-chart on Dept of State I am aware of the fact what documents to collect, forms to fill, getting police-clearance, etc but don't know the intermediate step between the two.

--> Can we do anything to expedite the process?

Many thanks in advance for the replies/help.

your wife should get a letter and or E-mail but do not rely on it. The best thing to do is to call the NVC constantly. It could  take the NVC about 30 Days or more to receive your case and assign a case and invoice numbers but once you have the numbers you can proceed on the next steps. The next  step is to fill out the DS-261 choice of agent form. It designate who will receive correspondence from the NVC. It is best to make the US petitioner the agent but the beneficiary or 3rd party could be . After you fill out the form  you  want to call the NVC later to review it for you over the phone to save time. after you paid the AOS fees send in documents for both AOS and packet IV do not wait till after other fees are paid as it take NVC time to review the documents 3o or more days

If you want to speed up things at NVC then call them a lot

I probably call the NVC at least 10 times when my wife case was being process
