it  depends on the CO. Some will ask lots of proof, some dont.  In my case I was not asked but I brought bunch of email, viber, fb messenger conversation just in case they will ask.  my friend was asked those proof of  conversation luckily she brought some.

It's not usual or unusual IMO...it all depends on the circumstances and the CO. Do either of you have any red flags? What evidence did you send with the I-129F? What evidence did you show at the interview? How many times (and for how long) have you seen each other in person?

What proof of relationship did you bring on your interview? As per US Embassy Manila site, you are required to bring proof of relationship.

 PROOF OF RELATIONSHIP. Submit documents that further establish your relationship with the petitioner such as personal photographs with the petitioner taken over a period of time as well as personal correspondence.

What evidence of the relationship did you provide, though? If all that was stated was the time you dated or number of visits, then that would be a high concern for fraud, hence why they are asking for some documented evidence of the relationship.

A 221g pending additional documents means they don't have enough information to determine eligibility for the visa yet. Once they receive the additional documents, they will review them and make a decision (or request more documents, if needed). it does not mean they intend to refuse the visa.

That said, a refused visa does go through AP while the case is reviewed, and potentially prepared to have the petition sent back to USCIS. But it sounds like they only asked for more documents because they were not provided at the time of the interview.

I brought lots of photos together and screenshot from viber except video call screenshot. Thats what consul he asked me video call screenshot.

You guys been together for 11 years but only actually saw each other twice? No wonder you got denied on the ground of lack of bona fide relationship...

I don't think old photos or chat logs will help you. In my opinion you need more face time. Honestly work or not work, personally I'd find more time during 11 years to see my partner if I were in your situation. O.o

Oh is not quite the end of the world,we judge you not foryour  limited facetime in the last 11 yrs because we are not in your relationship and dont know the story which apears to be 11 yrs long.

Sometimes longer can be better,i see too many cases where people know each for 6 months with lots of facetime and file for visa but the final story is not the one your read called "Cinderella"

Sometime the slow walk over the rainbow ends with you finding a pot of gold! Just keep your faith......
