My interview is almost two weeks away, so I'm currently getting everything ready for the day. I've read down the list of things to take with me, but I just wondered if people could clarify what exactly I need to take. Do I need to take photocopies and originals are certain paperwork (Police certificate, Birth certificate, I-134)? Do I need extra evidence of our relationship even though our petition hasn't expired? It asks for a copy of the letter/email from the consul, is it referring to the original letter telling me that I can now book an interview? Just anything else that I might need, thanks in advance.

Each country varies on some specifics; but in general:

I-134 (with 'wet' signature is highly advised) and all financial documentation from petitioner

Police clearance

Birth certificate (we just requested originally 3-4 original copies during the process to have extras)

Ongoing proof of relationship (can be new photos, evidence of any new trips, some chat history showing communication over the time period of the I-129f processing)

New "updated" letter of intents to marry from both parties

Certificate showing "single or never married or divorce decrees (if this applies in your country or to you)

What list are you using? Is it the list London consulate provides? This is their list https://uk.usembassy.gov/visas/fiancee-2/required-documents/  Follow it over VJ lists from other countries. Open each listed item to check the details. You'd be surprised at how many don't and show up  with a "short form" birth certificate without their parents' names on it.

The London website  does say photocopies and originals, but they quit wanting photocopies over a year ago. They scan your originals now in keeping with going more digital over big paper files.

Not on the list but told to you when you booked online or simply handy to have with you...

Confirmation of paying the visa fee and arranging the Courier.

Confirmation email or something showing the date of your interview just to show outside that you really have an appointment. They have a list anyway they can check, but sometimes makes it go faster if there's a queue.

Not for a London interview unless the petition is expired. Then only from the USC petitioner.

NO for a London interview. None of that.

Ah perfect, I'm getting lost in my chrome tabs looking at list after list. Thank you for your help, I'll get onto printing off the right things.
