I-94 travel history

Hi,

The  I-129F forms state this (Page 6 of 13,  part 2, 38.a.)

"If your beneficiary is currently in the United States, complete Item Numbers 38.a. - 38.h.
38.a He or she last entered as a (for example, visitor, student, exchange alien, crewman, stowaway, temporary worker, without inspection):

38.b. I-94 Arrival-Departure Record Number ►"

I (the beneficiary) have entered the US before, but I am not currently there. Does this mean I don't have to write down my  I-94 Arrival-Departure Record Number and/or attach my I-94 travel history? I read on a different site you need to attach your I-94 travel history, but I can't find this anywhere on the USCIS site.

Thanks.

I been to USA too last 2017 as an exchange alien and we did file the k1 petition this March.

In our petition I provided my 1-94 number since I been there and you should have too. 😊

What are you talking about that you can't find it anywhere in USCIS site? Have you tried to read the instructions for how you fill up the I29f forms? I bet no. Might this picture help you😊

Please read item numbers 37.- 38b. For I-94 arrival-departure Record.

I read it but I missed have missed it, I'm sure you can imagine its all pretty overwhelming. I guess I got confused by the "currently in the United States" part.

Thanks for the help, I appreciate it.

You're welcome 😊 Well the "currently" word on the 129f form is pretty tricky. But in their instructions there's "has ever been" word tho. LMAO😂 so confusing , i know that... but you are good to answer those part and don't forget to include your I-94 history print out in the packet!

The part of the petition you are referring to was a recent I-129F revision.  It is my opinion that the instructions did not quite get updated to match

YMMV

That part is confusing... It may be that the instructions have not been updated. We filled out everything based on the instructions. I wish i saw this forum before we started working on our papers.

good luck everyone!
