has two months that my case was sent to the NVC, I did not receive any I-797 action letter, is it normal for this delay in my case to be sent to the consulate?

Thanks a lot, my dad called last week, and they said they were reviewing the case, does it mean anything important?

update your visajourney.com timeline,  NVC Received : http://www.visajourney.com/timeline/profile.php?id=272968

1. they say it can take 6 weeks to receive it, if they have not received it yet.

2. they say it can take 11 weeks to review it, if they have received it.

either way, call them up weekly, for an updates that might occur.

so they said they received, but no letter arrived saying that it was received, still waiting for the response that was received, by telephone they said they received, but not yet updated the system

keep ringing them a couple of times a week, until they can give you a 'case number' and 'invoice number'.

(expect to wait 5 to 8 weeks)

then you log in here...

https://ceac.state.gov/CEAC/

1.fill and send the DS-261 form online.(again ring to speed up review of submitted form)

   Pay 2 fees online

2.  fill and send DS-260 online.

Send supporting evidence in mail or online(if possible)

wait for evidence to be scanned (SD) by NVC

wait  for case complete(CC) by NVC

wait for interview date assignment at embassy

(do medical at a 'US visa Dr office'  BEFORE interview)

go to interview.

wait for passport to be returned to you with visa inside

simple, right? :D

How long more to wait  start on the affidavit of support? I-864?

I do not know, I've been waiting for more than two months, I have not even received the letter that they received my case, but my father called her and they said they are reviewing.

Have you been calling them to ask why the delay. Two months is getting longer than normal. If you have not called to find out, wast no time to do so. maybe they already have your information's in their system.

Yes, I called twice, and they told me that they are reviewing, but I do not understand why no warning came from them saying that it was received
