Probably but even they know deep down that W has and is doing a terrible job. My mom, bro and sis-in-law voted for dubya. Now they just shake their head in disbelief. His approval rating is there for a reason. Isn't it amazing how nearly all of those W04 stickers have worn off in the past 6-12 months? I used to see them all over the place and all of the sudden they're all but gone.

Not all of them have come to their senses yet. My dad is still proud he voted for Bush, and he said "history will smile upon George W. Bush." I was like...yeah, it'll smile upon him LEAVING office. OTOH my mother is deeply embarrassed that she voted for Bush in 2004 but hasn't committed to voting Democrat in 2008 yet. She's afraid my dad would be mad. I don't see why he has to know. I lied to my dad in 1994 and told him I voted for Bush for guv, when I actually voted for Ann Richards.

P.S. my dad voted for Clayton Williams in 1990 for governor of Texas; Google him and his famous rape comment. No accounting for taste, eh?
