Yes, that's what @Ben&Zian and I were telling you :) Of course 3 years with other requirements to be fulfilled.

For my I-129F, K-1, AOS, EAD, AP and ROC detailed timelines, please refer to my timeline page :)

ROC filed on December 1, 2020, assigned to SRC, approved within 106 days on February 18, 2021.

My sincerest gratitude to all VJers, especially the late geowrian.

Yay! I found another page specifically for US citizen's spouses: https://www.uscis.gov/us-citizenship/citizenship-through-naturalization/naturalization-spouses-us-citizens

Here's the policy manual on naturalization: https://www.uscis.gov/policymanual/HTML/PolicyManual-Volume12.html

Thanks for this... Im not planning on leaving the US once I enter on Wednesday unless my soon to be husband gets sent overseas with the military... where I will go with him anyway but it counts as the US as long as Im on orders.

So that page says 5 years this is why I'm confused...

Military spouses who are LPRs are eligible for naturalization without any specific period of LPR status, but they must currently be in LPR status when the US citizen spouse is deployed overseas for one year or more.

Please can someone clarify to me, how long after we marry can I get citizenship 3 years or 5 years?

Well we started the k1 in December 2013. We just filed n400 for citizenship a few weeks ago. We have only had one RFE during the k1 process which slowed us down by a month. My husband will probably be done with citizenship next year. So roughly 6 years it'll take. Also processing times change all the time so it may be a bit shorter or longer for you.

- I am the US Sponsor-

Removal of Conditions (pending)

 NOA1 - 2/27/2017

 Biometrics - 3/22/2017

Citizenship

NOA1 - 3/19/2018
