Hello everyone! Me and my fiancee recently got our I-129f approved and are sitting at the NVC stage. We are trying to get documents together and ran into a bit of an issue that I am unable to get clear answers on from research. She is in Japan and will be doing her interview there. She needs her NBI Clearance from the Philippines but will not be going back there anytime soon. How can she obtain this in a timely manner from Japan? She has a sister who could possibly get it for her, how would she do this? Also, if that is not an option how can she get it herself from Japan? My final question would be if she needs to do it herself from Japan, does anyone know how long that will take?

She needs to go to the Philippine consulate in Japan. Have her fingerprints done and fill up some form. She will be needing the US embassy letter(photocopy) with her name in it to obtain it. Then she will be mailing the form, fingerprint and nbi fee deposit slip to Manila or to her Authorized person to get it for her. Dont forget to send Authorization letter.
