hi everyone! congrats for the new approvals..i have a question. can my fiance(usc) call uscis even if we have an attorney? our attorney doesn't seem to give us any news and she is not asking anyone anything. when we called her she said that uscis is processing march fiers and that's that. so...is there a problem about him calling?

The telphone message while you are getting to a person at USCIS says the attorney, or the petitioner can call

It's coming up on 30 days since my NOA2 and the NVC has STILL not received my case. Has anyone else here with NOA2's experienced such a long delay with the NVC? This is not boding well for wanting my fiance to be here by Christmas.

Call CSC ASAP the same thing happen with our case, they sent it out the same day we called, good luck. Make sure you talk to someone at California and not customer service.

Don't worry, you're not being a wet blanket and I'm also tring to keep things in perspective, but when I called early on in this process about not receiving my NOA1, I never got a touch. The only touch was for when they mailed the NOA1 the second time. So, even though I'm pretty sure yesterday's was from the call, I'm really hoping today's has a little more meaning. Either way, I'm so glad that it's at least being looked at. Let's hope that you, ramzis and I are approved today as well as all the other May filers that are "patiently" waiting

We haven't gotten to the NVC either but I called on Monday and the lady said it should take around four weeks. I'm planning on calling tomorrow. But I've seen people lately who have waited 34-35 days. More torture!!! Hang in there Sienna, we will get there soon!

I read your post and just called, since it's been 4 weeks since our approval too and no NVC receipt yet. The lady said the usual "90 day" script. However, I called the 1-800 number I've seen posted various places on VJ b/c I didn't know of a number directly to California. When I asked the lady if she was at the CSC or just a general call center, she said she couldn't disclose her location and that there was no number to contact CSC directly. In other words---"Yes, we have up to 6 months to process your case. Yes, we have up to 3 months to mail it out after that. Yes, your papers can sit here in Cali for 9 months before you should be alarmed"

I expect that the NVC will get our papers soon, along with everyone else's who are waiting.....it's just such a helpless feeling and after going through waiting forever to get the coveted NOA 2, it's hard to hear the heartless answers.

Congratulations to all who are getting approved!! I'm at 147 days too. I was hopeing to get mine today, and I could share the special day with my nephew who was born early this morning! Trying to stay positive, it's hard though, Maybe tomorrow......

I was hoping to get mine today also, along with U2rsobad and Ramzis. Hopefully we will be dancing tomorrow

Yeah, thanks, I hope so, but do you ever get tired of checking your email, and USCIS website??? WOW, sometimes I think I'm better off to not check any more, it's a big let down everytime I see no change.....ya know?? What do you all think???Keep checking, or just let it come snail mail!???What to do???

You know everyday I tell myself to only check the USCIS site once in the morning and once at night. Unfortuantely I end up checking all throught the day. Each time I check I get my hopes up, then nothing. It kills me but I end up doing the same thing again several hours later. I want to know now so I can get this part over with.

I hope we get approved this week

When you call using the "RFE trick" that line takes you to California. My fiance has it written down but he's not at home.

Can anyone help pedsgirl77 with this number. I can't understand why most people are getting CSR who are basically telling them off. I was always on the line when my fiance calls and we always talk to people who seem eager to help.

Do you have to have training in customer service to work wit USCIS or you just have to can say hello? In MOST Organisation CSR are taught to make the customer know that you have their best interest at heart. You have to listen, sympathise and apologise, especially if you have an organisation where the standards are falling. I guess USCIS CSR know that we can't take our business else where so they dish out all the B/S they can. USCIS aught to have better standards though, especially since we have to be paying more.
