Is going to take at least 2 weeks to get it, And another 6 weeks for this document to be review and then schedule the interview. This is going to delay our process for about 2 months. This is why I want to know if somebody out there was able to give this PPC at the interview! Thanks

A friend of mine got a checklist for the same thing and had to send in a copy to the NVC. As far as I know NVC can't approve your case without the PPC. It's worth a few more calls to ask and see if you can get the information straight from them, but I'm almost certain you'll need to send it in in order for them to approve your case. Good luck!

HELP PLEASE

So I was already waiting for my case to be completed and last week I received a checklist for my husband. He needs the Passport Police Clearance report. We sent one that we got in Kerala because our lawyer said it was ok, but they did not accepted it. We are already in the process of getting it. In the letter it said I can either send it to NVC or bring it to the interview. So we called to tell them that we are going to bring it to the interview and they are saying we must send it to NVC. We call several times and got mixed answers. One said to write a letter and see if they accept it. Anybody here knows if we can bring the PPC to the interview?

Mumbai embassy!

if your cheklist letter says this anywhere in that document

Do NOT send the corrected form and documents to NVC. We will schedule the visa

interview without having reviewed these documents. Instead, give all requested documents

to the visa applicant, who should present them to the consular officer during the visa

interview. Failure to submit the requested documents at the time of the visa interview can

delay this case.""

then your case is complete at NVC, but you must need to submit the requested doc at an interview else you need to submit the PCC at NVC or they won't schedule your intervew.  Good Luck ! ( Source: Friends experience)

You mentioned earlier that you were told you can be scheduled for interview any time due to your visa category.. please what’s your category?

I meant my category is that my spouse is US citizen so the priority day becoming current is not applicable for us we are on top priority for interview scheduling. But still no luck yet.

I'm got by case complete on 14th of Feb, and I am still waiting for my interview date. I'm EB1 applicant and my interview will be at Mumbai Embassy. Anyone knows how long does this take?

Hi, @Nawaz Dhandala, I am also Eb1 petitioner and waiting since December 5th, it depends upon the local embassy.

We have to submit Police clearance certificate from passport office  at NVC & also during Consulate interview.

If you are looking for PCC from India, you can schedule for PCC appointment based on your Passport RPO & get PCC.They will issue 2 PCC certificates (both same) one you can submit at NVC & other at Mumbai Consulate.
