K1 visa process and procedures

Anybody knows the processing time for 2018? And do the petitioner really need to sign all the docs that’s being submitted? Thanks everyone!

Taking anywhere between 9 - 12 months total to get the visa.

 

Yes, you have to sign where ever it requires a signature. If not, you will receive an RFE which will cause longer wait times.

Hmm takes pretty long this time. I mean like my evidences, pictures, itineraries, etc.

Yes, the process times for K1 have increased a great deal in the past few months.

Depends on exactly the type of evidences supplied, but generally you don't need to sign supporting evidence. The exception would be something like a letter.

The letters of intent to marry (1 from each of you) should be signed. A wet signature isn't necessary from the beneficiary...they can print, sign, scan, and send to the petitioner.
