Hi I am a new member. I am taking the first steps in getting my girlfriend to the US.

I am working off a template cover letter for my I-129F petition. What I need help on is, there is certain words in red where you need to fill your info in. The word "Fiancé[e]" is on the form. I am not sure what to do with the "[e]" part. What does it mean? I have included a screenshot of what I am talking about below.

I will probably be asking many more silly questions like this one during my process of doing this. I appreciate all the help.

Is your fiancé(e) male or female?

That's it as it is your gf you go with "fiancée"

You can also leave it as it is the name of the visa as "fiancé(e)" or chose the one fits you.
