Address change after K1 Visa Application

Hello,

Not sure if this has been asked before but I wasn't finding anything on it. My question isn't how you change your address after moving... On the form, there is a section about where your beneficiary is planning to live and I'm wondering how it will work if I put my current address but move during processing. For instance, I live with my sister and her family. I currently am paying down debt and then plan to apply for a mortgage. If I use her address when we apply and then I end up getting approved on the mortgage loan, will that affect his approval odds of getting a K1-Visa? Would we just have to notify them that he will be living at my new house even though we initially put my current address? Thank you for taking the time to read and answer this in advance!

Are you the petitioner or the beneficiary?

And who's address are you concerned about?

I am the petitioner. I'm concerned to put my current address and then it changing during the process before he gets approved.

There is no problem with changing address because it can easily be changed online. Also, the beneficiary will need to update the address where she will be residing in the US in the ds160 form prior to the interview.

Okay, thank you. Does the DS-160 have a filing fee?

Yes. This is the MRV fee (or visa fee) which will be paid when beneficiary's application has been approved. Instructions will be sent by the US embassy of the beneficiary's country. You can check the fees on their website.
