Documents to take to CR-1 Interview

I have put a list together for everyone to review and add to that we all at some point need to take to the interview. Could you please let me know if I am missing anything?

The below + Bona Fide Evidence + any documents that NVC requests to bring to the interview from checklist if applicable.

From my understanding, I-864 needs to original (signed) instead of copy but the other financial documentation should be photocopies.

Thanks!

Have they changed requirements?

our criminal reports had to go to NVC before they would complete that stage

and medical exam was taken in sealed envelope to interview

do'n't think you need receipts for AOS and IV as your case would not go out for interview if they had not been paid

did you recive a checklist from NVC to bring with the letter to gain entrance to embassy?

For police clearance certificate, you send a copy to NVC, but take the original to interview and yes, medical documentation is given to us in sealed envelope. As far as AOS and IV fee receipts, yes I agree, but just in case.

Thanks!

for Passport -a photocopy of the biographic page (where your name and photo are located).

Payment receipts not necessary but good to have it in case

You bring either Tax Transcripts or Tax return, not both.

You meant last 3 years of W2

No need of photocopy of US Passport, just need beneficiary passport copy (unless US spouse is not in USA, then  you need prove domicile in the United States)

Yes, 3 years of W2's is what I meant. I think either IRS tax returns of W2's but best to take both in case, and thanks for clarification on the passport copy.

i was reading again about the passport, i am little confused now. For family based visa, it is say this "Proof of the U.S. petitioner’s status and domicile in the United States (photocopy of a U.S. passport, naturalization certificate, or legal permanent resident card)." So i think it is good to bring copy of passport of the US spouse
