My case was touched again today. :blink: That's the third day in a row... I hope it means something good, but we all know it could mean absolutely nothing. :wacko:

I think it's fairly standard, as you can see from my timeline as well as Arazia's, but her case also got approved soon afterward. It can be a good thing!!

Now where's my approval.... :crying:

Hey, ours was touched again today too. There was a change of status (to pending at CSC) on July 2nd, then touches every day since then. It could be something good or it could be a coffee spill, but it's nice to see that date changing.

So nice to know that there have been a lot of transfers in our thread for the past couple of days. Congratulations to all of you guys and wishing you a fast approval!! I am now jealous... In a good way though..

I don't get the touching privileges too, since our 129F! :D So I guess I have to get used to it already, but I am watching out for the touch when it would say "interview cancelled".

Wait a minute, does that show in the online portfolio at USCIS website?

I don't think it does! When I read people posting about it, they always say that they've received a letter in the mail de-scheduling the appointment. I don't think the online case status even states when you have an interview issued to you!

@Jashley820,

I say you go for an infopass if it would not be too far or too inconvenient to you. You know the whole story with mine :) , though the answers were not as direct as I wanted them to be, from others' standpoint she could have "hinted" me and husband that the FBI checks were through. I kept repeating the questions though rephrasing them to make her answer "yes your security clearance is complete", but she just keep on saying "stop worrying, you're all good, just bring everything at the interview, you know you have your interview on the 24th right?" (she said this right after she second checked my case in the computer, not the first check). Sometimes these info officers slip up, and will tell you more than they are authorized, unfortunately the agent said to me they are not allowed to encourage or give positive remarks about the case, in her exact words.. I am expecting worst so I wouldn't be devastated.

@Silke,

I am in SF today (Starbucks lol) and tried to get assistance of our lady senator regarding the FBI inquiry, we'll see what happens. I can wait 'til the interview, true, but I just want to give it a try, my experience might help others too.. I don't care if others think it is useless, I know I just have to know and do something. Patience is a virtue but persistence can be a nice virtue too ;)

catch you guys latah! I think Peet's coffee is better than Starbucks, hehe (sorry for the long post, I missed VJ for a day)

Hey thanks mysticbluerose! I just PM'd you to tell you that I made the appointment....I hope that my IO slips up, lol!

I thinik it's great that you're pursuing your senator to find out about the FBI checks. Did you meet with her in person? How did it go? I TOTALLY agree that persistence is a great virtue as well. You go girl!

The senator was on a trip to meet up with constituents in Washington D.C. But the agents are professional so I'm keeping my fingers crossed at the moment that they would verify the FBI checks.. If not, at least I tried. There should be a way to know from the horse's mouth (FBI)..
