Anyone able to give me some insight on current processing times?

My fiancé and I sent our 129f package in November 2017 and got NOA1 in mid November. 

We have not received anything further in the mail and are awaiting NOA2. 

I am american, he is british (not sure if it makes a difference).

I read an article that said current processing time is 9months ?? 

 

I keep reading conflicting reports and wanted to know if anyone could give me a clearer answer on what processing times are/ when I might be getting NOA2. I know this gets asked 1000s of times so I’m sorry if I annoy anyone.

Nationality makes no difference at the petition stage.  You are all in the same line.

 

Junes and maybe July are starting to see some approvals but the time seems to be getting longer

7 months for noa2

1.5 months for nvc

and whatever your embassy requires comes after that.

 

so 9-12 months depending on rfe etc.

 

follow this 

 

We write reports there that will be your clearest answer.

 

and create a timeline in your profile an for it will give you an estimate (probably somewhere in may for noa2)

 

 

ps_What I don't understand is everybody knows it gets asked 1000 times and it's ok we will all answer but isn't it better to read the most recent post with the same topic (because we really do have 1000s)

Hey, its always helpful to get a fresh answer to an old question!

You just have to have a great deal of patience. Nothing you can do within the current waiting periods will hurry your case any. The Entire K1 process is like a slow running drain and getting slower all the time. Numbers of applicants keep going up. Employees to process applications keep going down.

Numbers of applicants actually about 3000 less than last year.

 

I am ok with answering and that's what I will do till everyone gets their answer but about this question only we answer it daily, and actually every month has the informations weekly too. I as one would first search in this case because it is extremely general ar this moment because of the long wait. I wrote that because the op also guessed that this question has been asked 1000 times.

 

on another note you're 100% right this whole process needs extreme levels of patience.
