I-751 delay

I filed I-751 on November 2016, did my biometrics one month later.

As of today, January 2018, my receipt number still “not recognize, not found.

My year extension has been expired, and I can’t get any infopass, ive been trying for a few weeks..

I need it to work, what can I do? Anyone in the same problem?

Did you use the second receipt number on your biometrics letter.

we filed in October of 16 and are in the same boat.  We just have to wait till they get to our cases. They are working on August 2016 at CSM.

This, you need to use the number on the biometrics letter to check removal of conditions applications

If you still can't get access to your file, I'd be more concerned about that than Infopass - call the (mis)information line and get them to find the correct number to make sure they haven't lost your file. 

 

Then keep looking for an Infopass using all the normal tricks (search for appointments at odd times - just after midnight, early in the morning, etc, and (unless you're in CA, where this doesn't work as well) look at other nearby USCIS offices - sometimes one that's in the next city over will have appointments when your official local one doesn't)

The WAC in the biometrics works. It says “my fees were waived?? “ 

I talked to an immigration agent yesterday, she looked at my case.. still pending. She said my only option was to get my passport stamped as proof to travel and work. Get an infopass is impossible so she suggested to do a walk in. 

I drove 6 hours today just to hear “work and travel” is not an emergency.. only “mothers death justifies walk in’s

I need proof for my employer. I can’t believe my only option is to wait, how can I live in this country without working?? I really need to work and that’s an emergency for me

Look for appointments after midnight or early in the morning, keep refreshing every half an hour. Alternatively, see if there are any info appointments at another field office.  If that fails write a letter of complaint to the field office manager, we don't do that enough, as how can the service ever improve if we all say nothing?!?
