Yodrak,

Yes, mother. :innocent:

pushbrk,

That doesn't mean that all Approval Notices do not show the A#. Be careful of extrapolating too much from one's own experience.

Yodrak

..... An approved I-130 notice does not contain an A number in the rectangle containing the beneficiary's name. ....

..... My wife's I-130 NOA2 does not have an A number.

Facts are cheap...knowing how to use them is precious...

OK, to recap this topic - I received my I129F Receipt notice on 3/13/07, the transfer notice indicating transfer to CSC on 4/5/07 and the approval notice on 4/11/07. I have quadruple checked the receipt numbers on these things and they all match and all were sent electronically as well as hard copy. Then Thursday 4/26 I received a CRIS e-mail saying the status was pending at CSC.

UPDATE - NVC advised via e-mail that they do not have any record of my I-129F K3 petition. I spoke with an Immigration Officer at the California Service Center yesterday who advised that the approval status is indeed CORRECT and that I should ignore the pending status notice. This means that my I-129F K3 petition was approved in 4 business days from the transfer date to CSC. Incredible, right?

So here is the dilemma...the average timing from NOA2 to consulate receipt is 24 days and we just hit that today. At this point the NVC says they haven't even seen it. Feels like a new waiting game. Where could it be? What are my next steps? I believe I am supposed to receive an affidavit of support package before my wife gets consular notification right?

Signed,

Hopelessy Optimistic,

Chris
