12/27/2017: Checked receipt number on the USCIS website and they had just forwarded the case to NVC that day *shame*

Go to Medical Wednesday and don't go until around lunch time.  No standing in line and it can be a couple hour process the first day.

They don't close during lunch hours? My Fiancé will be going in for his medical on May 17th and 18th (hopefully would only take him 2 days), he's planning to come in early but I'm afraid if he does come in super early that he might've to wait a long time to get started and finish for his 1st day.

Absolutely no benefit to going in super early.  You can show up after SLEC opens and easily be done with the 1st day.   Medical is no more than a 2 day process.. unless there are other issues.
