Update:

January 22, 2018

We scheduled your naturalization ceremony
View your letter on your documents tab for the ceremony date, time, and location
Note: It may take up to a few days for your letter to show on your documents tab.

So, hopefully it is for February. Same as last time, I expect the document to be received in few days.

Thanks,

Khawar

Update:

My status changed to Oath Ceremony Scheduled on 22nd January, got the letter online in Documents on 24th January and received it via snail mail on 26th January. It is scheduled for 14th February.

My wife on the other hand, her status changed to Oath Ceremony Scheduled on 19th January, and since then no document online or in snail mail. I'm getting a little worried about it that they somehow messed up her documents.

Thanks,

Khawar

Update:

Well it is getting frustrating now. There is still no letter in mail or online for my wife. I created an e-request and it says that they will respond by Feb 20th. Which is too late as the next ceremony is on 14th Feb.

I went ahead and called the 1-800 number, the CSR told me that she can see that her Oath is scheduled but cannot see anything beyond that. She said that I can request her document on 18th Feb. I told her the situation that the next Oath ceremony is on 14th so she said she understand but cannot help me. She said if I would like to talk to second level she can do that, I accepted and she transferred me over. The wait time was more than 64mins so I setup a callback.

When I got the call back, the IO on the other side was very difficult to understand and sounds like he was sleepy or had very bad flu. Anyhow, he told me the same thing that I can request it after 30 days which is on 20th Feb. I told him the same thing again about the ceremony and he said that OK, you can call again on the night (what????) of 13th with a fax number and they will fax it to me. I asked him again about the date and time and he said either 13th or 12th. I asked him if he can fax it now, and he said no. Then he asked me if I have any other questions, I said no and call ended.

I will call again on 11th and see if they can fax it to me. But has anyone tried to go to Oath Ceremony without the letter and see if they can check the list and verify you are on it and let you in? The problem I see is that if they don't give me the letter, She'll miss the ceremony and we'll be stuck again with them to reschedule it because of no fault of our own but they will say we missed it.

Thanks,

Khawar

I suggest you check with your neighbors to make sure they didn't get your mail by accident. I received my oath letter via snail mail 7 day work days later, but I still haven't got the letter online for some reason. I got my previous notice letters online no problem but just not this oath letter :/

I'm so sorry you have to go through this! Can you call them on the 11th(Sunday)? I didn't know they are available on weekends. I would call them again on Friday and demand it(in a nice way, of course).

Yes, that was the first thing we did. Our neighbors are very good at it too and always return the mail. In this case no luck :(
