I told you guys that our cases at the NVC. I called NVC many times, they said they will transfer unless USCIS asks for it.

So Uscis will transfer the cases when the PD is current?

That is not right. Only your I-130 is sent to NVC no matter if you adjust your status in the US. If you notify NVC, they will hold it there until USCIS office requests it. Otherwise, it will go through consular processing. This is what I read from NVC:

Quote

If you are physically present in the United States and will apply for adjustment of status with USCIS, then your case will not be processed by the NVC. (You will not apply for an immigrant visa.) Do not pay any fees or submit any forms to the NVC. Notify the NVC by email or mail as soon as you decide to pursue adjustment of status.

I was only talking about I130. I knew they have to move it to USCIS prior to the interview. I called them many times. They said they cant send it unless USCIS requests it.

When did you start hearing from USCIS that someone is working on your case?

I got the email saying that the EAD was under review and I should have receive a notice shortly 2 months before the approval. (12th April - Approval 14th June). Actually I was finally able to see all the service request info I sent, and they just say that an officer was working on it, but nothing else!

Do you have news?

no news not yet. Who said an officer is working on it? how do I know if an officer is working on mine?

The SR I received said "you should receive something shortly" two months back. It doesn't say anything about an officer.

Go on the website https://egov.uscis.gov/casestatus/mycasestatus.do

and register there. After you register on that one you can check the SR.

On the phone they told me that an officer was working on it, and also at the Infopass appt.
