I just hope that even for I-485 they don't put us (F2A categories) behind K1 like they did for EAD/AP. That would be tragic.

I don't think they share the same view with you. I think they feel they are doing us a favor, even if they are paid by us. Did you get any mail about your SRs?

Don't worry you will get it.. Keep calling and make life hell for congressmen, ombudsman and Level 1, 2, 3, 4.......n officers ! They don't move unless you make them move

we talked to every body, they keep giving us conflicting answers. One time its background check, another time they say application is good but we are so busy, another time they say its pending review. Don't know who to believe.

Did you try with the Ombudsman?

They sent me an email today saying that USCIS sent me the EAD, so they closed the case. 
The funny part is that USCIS approved the EAD the day after I sent the case assistance request to the Ombudsman office!

I complete the interview this morning. It was quick. She did not ask me anything about our relationship. She just ask about information in the form I-485. The only weird thing is that she did not have my I-130 because it is currently at NVC even though I already notified NVC that I will adjust my status in the US. So she has to request the form from NVC then review it. No decision is made yet. In the end, she ask me that if I have anything to leave. I left my lease contract, car insurance, bank statements, and a photo book. She then took a look at the photos and returned it to us. She told us to wait for the online case status update and we should receive a notice in the mail within 30 days. That was it. 

 

A few hours later, my case status was updated to “Interview Was Completed And My Case Must Be Reviewed”

I wonder if I need to ask NVC to transfer the Case to USCIS as well.. this never ends  !:ranting:
