Hi

My fiancé is arriving at the end of this month, I need some guidance as far as what forms to filled o what exactly do I need to do once I get married.

Please

Thanks

Jhonny

After arrival have her get a ssn card it will be in her maiden name (could take 10 days for her i94 to be in the system)

After marriage

You will need to wait until you can get your marriage certificate

After that it would be good to get her a bank account

Once you have your marriage certificate you will apply for adjustment of status i485 and a work permit i765 and advance parole to be able to travel(optional) i131

These are all included in the one time payment of 1225 ..which includes your biometrics fee (85 dollars)

There are guidelines available on this website.

Spot on with everything but now I hear that the new system is in place and they are in the system within 24 hours of arrival.
