can i apply for Direct Consular Filing DCF ?

Hi all,

 

I've been reviewing the guide topic of CR1- IR1 visas, and stopped by DCF process.

Me and my wife live together abroad and she's a US citizen that I met in the same country we live in. we already filed I-130 for CR1 visa but I never knew about DCF. From what I've read about it I believe it applies to our situation  ( where both of us live together abroad ) Anyway, Can we reapply for DCF or change the case to be direct consul filing ?

However, theres no way to change it if you already filed. I suppose you might be able to cancel it and refile, but you'd have to pay the fee again. 

It's Saudi Arabia. Is it one of them ?

Nope. DCF is not available for KSA (except in exceptional circumstances).

thanks buddy, for me I'm not really on rush on this matter except for my wife who wants to badly go back there with me.
