Hello everyone, good to be back again. I can’t remember my old username and password, so I made new one. My last step for this journey, getting ready to apply N-400 but I have few questions, do I have to provide passport photo size? The USCIS updated said,Only if you lived outside the USA. Department of homeland and Security won’t fit on the check so the cashier put payable to DHS, is this okay? Plus I forgot to put my A# on the check.please help. Thanks you.

Most likely the entire package will be sent back to you as the check is incorrectly filled out.  USCIS is very clear on their website how the check should be made payable to.  You can resubmit the package with a new check properly filled out.  That being said---it can also depend on who is reviewing the application during its initial stage---in other words, some VJ members have gotten away with "DHS", some have had their packages mailed back to them for this reason.

This is correct.  Passport photos are only required from those applying from outside of the USA.

Strongly recommend you that you should submit your N400 online! I just had my interview today, and the TVs in the waiting all had this information on display, suggesting people to submit N400 online.

I submitted mine online in Oct 2017, and it has been easy to see updates, documents etc. Also you can use a credit card/debit card to pay for the application fee online. Way easier in my opinion.
