Which types of question is asked by consular officer(at interview) to minor children of f2a category?
#TIA

Typically none to something age specific.  In our interview the question was just one.   "Do you want to live in America?".

YMMV

From what I've seen reported here on VJ, minor children are normally asked simple questions about the petitioning parent (to establish the relationship),   how old they are, that sort of thing.

They are also very adept at spotting children who have been coached in the "right" answers....so while you want the child to be prepared, you want to also encourage them to reply honestly and in their own words---not just prior rehearsed answers :) .

How can you be enrolled in a US school if you have not immigrated yet?

The same way those who have F-1 student visas apply to US schools before immigration, I would imagine.

I know the OP is not on a F-1 visa....I was responding to your question on how students can certainly apply to US schools while outside of the country.  I did remove the part about school from the previous post though so as not to cause confusion to the OP...however VJ members have stated in the past that their child was asked about attending school in the US *shrug*.

My child has been stayed in the U.S since 2013 as F1. I become GC holder and currently sponsor for my child. And so yes i think they would ask my daughter about her school.

p.s: Is there a list of common questions for Minor Children F2A?

Hi, have you already sponsored your child under F2A ? I was wondering how long did it took for the petition to get approved and for her to become a permanent resident. I would appreciate your response.  Thank you
