Seen the same thing all day.

In addition, the app I use has been going off all day showing "cases similar to yours were updated", and then showing no status when I went to look at them. Definitely seems to be a glitch in the matrix somewhere.

If I login to my USCIS online account, there are no changes there.

It's still showing the same message. I called Tier 1 a few times and they cant see anything either. I got transferred to Tier 2 who was not in a good mood and told me that her system is showing that I have been updating my phone number and address for like 20 times on the dhs website(not true). And then basically she just said my case has been pending that's why no info is showing...not quite following her logic.

No change here, either.

For funsies I entered the receipt number for my I-485 from back in the day, and that status was retrieved just fine. So it seems to be an issue with certain application types only.

Regardless, since the online account is still working, I'm not worried about it. USCIS is not a well-managed agency, and this is merely the latest example of that.

Mine is showing the same thing too....

But, i was reading a post I found in google from April 2018 and all the people that received this message then got their cases with an Interview scheduled or with RFE...so...we have to wait...

Someone said this can be a good sign...

At first, they found it as weird as we do and then they were seeing the results.

Cross fingers and good luck for us

Do you have a link for this? It's definitely strange!

Congrats! Awesome news

Mine is still the same "USCIS cannot provide you with information". No change since July 25th..

Just noticed that mine is in that same status as well. Here's hoping for some movement this week.

Boring wall of text incoming...

I decided to take one final stab at getting Dallas to take action on my case.

This will be the last attempt I make on this. They will either accept it or they won't. C'est la vie.

Thought I would use a slightly different tack behind my request for them to expedite and schedule my interview. So, back in 2012 when I filed my I-485 and I-360 applications, I was scheduled for an interview within 3 months. I went to the interview in Dallas, and they messed it up. Since I was applying as a widower of a US citizen, they stated they didn't have jurisdiction over my cases. This was incorrect. But it didn't stop them from sending my cases first to the Vermont Service Center (where VAWA I-360s should be sent, but not widower I-360s - this is the genesis of the error they made) and then for whatever reason VSC sent my cases to the Houston field office, before going to the Dallas field office. It was only with the intervention of the CIS Ombudsman that I managed to get this all straightened out, but it took literally months to do it, and added around 8-9 months to my case unnecessarily.

A few months ago I filed a Freedom of Information Act request with USCIS for a complete copy of my alien file. I had no real reason behind doing it, other than maybe seeing anything of interest from documents on their side that I wouldn't have seen before. A couple of weeks ago a CD appears in the mail with a .pdf of my entire alien file, as I asked for (I had completely forgotten about it since this was about four months ago - FOIA requests are very backlogged in their system). And there was actually quite a lot of interesting things there; I would thoroughly recommend you do this if you are at all interested in everything USCIS has on you (some things to do with criminal background is redacted, but almost everything else is in the clear). A couple of things jumped out at me. One was a document from the Vermont Service Center stating, as I surmised as the time, that my applications were incorrectly sent to them, and they were being returned to the field office. And then VSC made a further error by sending my applications to Houston instead of Dallas, so there were two errors.

Long story short, it took almost a year to adjudicate my case, whereas timelines at the period in time were ~3-4 months for Dallas, and indeed I got my first interview 3 months after filing, and it should have all been adjudicated there.

So... in this new letter I just wrote to Dallas today, I requested an expedite based on a USCIS error on my initial green card applications, which had the knock-on effect of delaying my eligibility for naturalisation for an additional 8-9 months. This is (1) a stretch, (2) creative on my part. I don't know if it's going to go anywhere, but hey, all I can do is ask. I gave them copies of the supporting documents I received out of my alien file, and I guess we'll see what happens. I wrote specifically to the Field Office Director of Dallas, William Bierman, as I had read that contacting the director can sometimes help.

But yeah, this is my last crack at it. If they say no for a third time then that's it, I just wait until they feel like getting around to me. But plenty of other people here are seeing forward progress, so that's always good news.

For those in Sacramento Field Office, I just had my N400 interview. My interview was at 11:15 a.m. today and there were around 15 people there. A little bit of info, some of these people brought their own translators, but all of them were not allowed to join the interview with the applicants because USCIS have their own translators - at least from my observation for the entire time I was there. I got there at 10:50 a.m. and for some reason, the receptionist didn't put me in their system when I checked in so I was the last one to be called by the interviewer.

Below are the questions that were asked:

1. What ocean is on the West Coast of the United States?

2. What is the name of the national anthem?

3. What is the "rule of law"?

4. Why does the flag have 13 stripes?

5. What major event happened on September 11, 2001, in the United States?

6. How old do citizens have to be to vote for President?

Reading question: How many U.S. senators are there?

Writing question: There are one hundred senators.

The interviewer went through my form after that and the whole thing took around 20 to 30 minutes. He told me that the oath ceremony will be at the end of August. When I got home at around 2:30 p.m. today, I received a notification that they have already mailed my oath ceremony letter.
