Hello everyone on VJ

My I130 Petition was approved on 12/18/17

and it stated that my beneficiary/Wife can adjust her status...! But my wife have never been to the US before and she’s still in Africa/ Guinea 🇬🇳!. So my approved Petition was not sent to NVC, instead was sent to NBC, please help how can I get them to send my files to NVC? Thanks in advance 🙏

There's something on the I-130 that says something along the lines of "My spouse is in the US and will adjust status", did you check that one instead of the "My spouse is currently overseas" maybe?

Hmmm, the I-130 version I'm looking at right now has different numbers for the questions. The ones I'm talking about are the ones I have attached. If you didnt fill in the US embassy address then that might be your problem. Could you clarify which one of these you left blank or filled in?

Yeah, I think that might be your problem right there, they don't know where to send the approved I-130 I guess? I think you should probably call USCIS and clarify this. Also there is a form called form I-824 which you can use to notify USCIS to forward your approved petition to the NVC
