My status on NVC changed from CC to review in process so I called them to see what happened and that's when I was told that my file had been sent to the Embassy because of my expedite and that embassy will contact me.

But i winder if we should call embassy instead? Not sure. But we asked for expedite through senator so they're handling it all and already emailed embassy about interview.

Hopefully you guys get an interview soon!!!! Praying my hubby is here before end of January if possible, I saw Islamabad has dates available for interview for this week and next.

Good luck!! Your end is near :)

How you know islamabad has dates available?  Are they scheduling interviews?

I checked online in their site, not sure if everyone can check but since ours is an expedite, I got to log in to "schedule my own interview" and it showed me the dates and times available, I just looked but didn'  pick since the senator is handling everything. I don't get why they aren't scheduling more interviews because I saw 9 open slots for next week alone.

People who CC from beginning of Jan could be getting those interview slots...

True but people like you could have those slots. So ridiculous to have open slots while people are waiting.

Alright thanks man.

Where are you finding this stuff? Not sure where I should look for what things can occur at interview etc.

Any help would be good as we can't afford for more delays.

Hi Everyone,

I am the beneficiary and My case got approved on 22nd November and got a notification that case was sent to Dept of State on 28 November 2017. I was travelling in Dec so did not contact NVC immediately. Moreover I am moving back to my home country so my husband also filled a form and submitted to NVC in Dec itself requesting to change my consulate from Abu Dhabi to Dhaka. Just yesterday I received NVC Welcome Letter by Post but strangely My Husband did not get any email or mail. NVC has stated all instructions how we should proceed but as per the letter My chosen Location is stated as Abu Dhabi Embassy which means its still not updated or changed to US Embassy of Dhaka. Any advice as what we need to do now?
