Hello. I am applying for a J1 exchange visa as a teacher. I just wanna ask 4 things.

1. Is there a medical examination?

2. What medical examinations are need to be done?

3. What happens if they found out that an applicant got a lung scar?

4. If the sputum test is negative, will the applicant be tagged as "fit to work"?

Thanks a lot in advance for those who will answer my queries.

But,   there may be a physical exam required by the employer. This is may be required by state law for educators.

It is irresponsible for you to know you may have a highly contagious disease and not take actions to prove otherwise.

I hope the USCIS flags this poster for review!!!!!!!!

I am actually very much willing to undergo a medical examination. As you can see asking these questions already showing responsibility and getting ready for possible scenarios.

Just asking if having a lung scar which is not active would still be given a J1 visa.

Hope you had a wonderful new year. 😊😊😊
