Doesn't the game end (final level) on level 39? If so, what is the purpose of having 50 lives left?

How did you get such a high score?

I wasnt sure how hard 39 would be, so i stocked up on lives right after level 38... It seems that the more money you have, the more points you get. I saved up alot. use your first 2 wood for interest, and just save. You can get up to about level 33 without any elemental towers. You should have about 20,000 coins by then. Thats actually enough to fill every single spot with all rockets or all fire.

Ah, I was going fire, water, earth, then interest on the last 2. Thanks for the tip. Will try later.

eh... i was doing fire and interest for everything else. i would get somewhere around 20 fire towers with many of the upgraded... everything else was arrows upgraded, and a couple of the cannons. i concentrated on the middle grassy field and on the section to the right. i wound up getting to lvl 35 though now.

40 pieces for 1 extra life seems like alot.

Finally got a chance to try this out and i'm hooked. I only had about 8K though at the end. Seems easy enough to beat the game if you just load up on upgraded combo towers, but apparently that's not how you get a high score. Back to try some more. :)

Yep, I made it to level 34 on my 1st try and finished the game using upgrades on the 2nd try - repeats for a higher score haven't worked. Isn't that sad? :P Maybe I'm trying to over think it? Unlikely. I suck at games. :P

I did the same, lol

You could just go fire, then interest, interest and more interest. :D

But can you beat the later levels with only fire towers and no combos??

Yep... 20 fully upgraded fire towers kill everything.

ETA: Why is this game so addictive? It's kind of stupid.

That didn't work for me. I leaked all 20 lives on the last level. Where are you positioning the 20 fire towers?
