NAIA Terminal 1 Travel tax HELP!

My Fiancee is getting ready to fly out of NAIA Terminal 1 , and will have to pay the travel tax of 1620PHP..

 

.Can anyone with RECENT experience at Terminal  1 explain the procedure from arriving at terminal, to checking in,buying Travel tax ( WHERE IS THE TRAVEL TAX DESK LOCATED/DOES SHE BUY travel tax before checking in or after , THEN going  thru immigration process? She will have our 2 yr old daughter with her but she has both Philippine and USA passport so she should be exempt from the travel tax...

 

Any help Much appreciated...please have recent experience within this year 2017..

Hi, there is desk there for Travel tax but as what I have understand travel tax only for Tourist.. She has USA Passport? how come? you mean she is now american citizen? I dont understand she has USA passport and you applied for K1?

OUR Daughter is Dual Citizen(Philippine/American Citizen)...

 

My fiancee is filipino citizen..and Travel Tax is for Philippine Citizens...

With regards to my experience “TRAVEL TAX” sometimes is included in the ticket sometimes not. I went home to Philippines last January and knowing that I have my European working visa still I need to pay the travel tax, they not counting me as OFW which is weird and I asked why I need to pay those travel tax and their explanation is what I mentioned above. It’s little amount of money but still little unfair knowing Im working outside the country. So, in conclusion OFW are free on travel tax.

Looking at the ticket i bought Travel Tax was not included..Since she is not an OFW She will have to pay.

Anyone help ?

I know..I am trying to find out from someone who has been thru NAIA terminal 1 recently and has HAD to pay..Need to know the process in NAIA 1...Please read my initial Post stating what i need to know..

Nåhhh, okay! The travel tax is located near the entrance before checked in but Im not quite sure cos recently as you said but she can ask always ask for assistance what she does have to do but Hopefully you will find the answers. Goodluck!

Recent experience of my Asawa in Terminal 3, Terminal 1 should not be much different.  See this link for pictures and details of location of where the counter is.  https://www.silent-gardens.com/air-departure.php

My wife is a resident in Hong Kong with me and as a result when she departs she goes to the travel tax counter and requests an exemption and shows her HK ID card and is granted an exemption and a form is given to her that will then allow her to get thru checkin and immigration.

If your wife and daughter are both traveling on their US Passports they should not even need to go to the travel tax counter.

There is an exception that your wife would have to pay travel tax if she had been in the Philippines for over a certain amount of time ( I think it's 6 months).

They are located just inside the passenger lobby. She will spot the desk when she looks around. If in doubt ask.

 

Travel tax can be paid online with a credit card http://tieza.gov.ph/announcement/

 

Check your ticket for all taxes paid.

Thanks..Only tax paid for philippines is the PSC (Passenger Service Charge)..the rest are the USA taxes...

Agreed if she is not yet holding a document showing residence in the USA then yes she not only will have to pay but will need to have a CFO sticker in her passport to exit with.   If she has a greencard of an advance parole card she does not need to pay.
