annotation B1 Visa with Annotation (Training was cancelled and was moved on an earlier date)

Hello guys hope you can answer my question. I applied for a B1 visa and I was given a B1/B2 Visa Multiple entries for 2 months and it has an annotation

 

Annotation:
Global Knowledge Center
Santa Clara, CA

January 2018

 

Now the training was cancelled and my employer booked a new one this December 18, 2017. Should I get a new visa?

What is the printed expiry date on the visa?

You are fine as long as you enter the US before the expiry date, even if the visa expires while still in the US, but don’t overstay the duration granted on entry.

Thanks for the fast response! The visa expires on Feb 2018, I'm just worried that they will not grant me entry because of the annotation date and place.

As long as it’s before the expiry you should be fine. Just remember to take documents showing purpose of visit, ie the training that has been booked, and your return flight back, in case of questions at the border (standard advice for B visa entries).

Okay, thank you! Hopefully they grant me entry. I have all the training tickets and roundtrip flight tickets with me plus the letter from my employer

I'm really worried that they may deny me entry because I will not be following the annotation. Should I still push through?

Hi klumz0624. Im in the same situation. Travelling on the 13th Jan 2018. But my annotation states company name, FEB 2018. 

 

Were you allowed entry to the US even of training was rescheduled at an earlier date? 

 

My visa is multiple entry 3months expiring March 28 2018.

 

Need help please.
