Marrying a Canadian in the United States?

I apologize in advance this probably isn’t the correct place for this, but I’m having issues finding a clear answer with my own research. My fiancé lives in Canada, and I live in Pennsylvania (United States) during his next visit (2 weeks long) we were wanting to get married. He isn’t moving here / and is returning back home after 2 weeks for school / his job. Information is conflicting, some state he can come here as a tourist & we can get married while other websites say he needs to be here on some kind of a visa. However we would literally be getting married, living apart for his last 2 years of schooling, just continuing our visits. & then figuring out who’s moving where. Can someone possibly explain options we have? 😩

There's no issue in marrying, and this is fine in PA. There's a 3 day waiting period from marriage license application until you can actually use it to get married. Congrats.

 

After marriage, if/when he wants to immigrate to the US, he needs a CR-1 visa: http://www.visajourney.com/content/i130guide1

Yes, you can visit after being married or while waiting for the visa process to complete. Having a USC spouse may raise some questions about your intent to return home at POE, so be sure to carry any ties (and always be honest, obviously). Just don't overstay, visit too often / too long, etc. Just do everything I'm assuming you've already been doing since you haven't had any issues with visits thus far.
