So, this touches on a few different things so I'm not 100% this topic won't get moved. BUT, my fiancee's lawyer needs something official that says you can't work until you have filed for an AOS, which you can only get after marrying the petitioner, which you can only do after the K1 visa is issued. I've found:

But those don't mention anything about the work part. Any help?

Why is the lawyer asking you, his client, for help with understanding the law?

Married: September 27, 2014

I-130 filed: February 5, 2016

NOA1: February 8, 2016 Nebraska

NOA2: July 21, 2016

Interview: December 6, 2016 London

POE: December 19, 2016 Las Vegas

N-400 filed: September 30, 2019

Interview: March 22, 2021 Seattle

Oath: March 22, 2021 COVID-style same-day oath

 

Now a US citizen!

It's not my lawyer, it's the beneficiary's lawyer overseas. For her to get the right to bring her son with her on a K2, they need to demonstrate to the judge why she can't start working immediately after entering the US.
