No, it’s the same with the provision that the various field offices have different processing times.

I received notification that my N400 interview has been scheduled. Just waiting on the letter and hoping they will combine N400 with I-751.

I sent a message to USCIS via my online account on Jan 4th and received a reply this morning. Basically, I am in line for an interview, even if I didn’t get a notification/letter to that effect. Thank you USCIS 🙂

starting from October(I think), everyone is "in line for an interview" immediately after biometric is done. I sent them a message before my biometric to fix something and their answer was "your status in suspense until biometric is done " then after my biometric was done, I sent them another message and I got the same response as yours. I have been waiting since Nov 21 with further actions.

@Thmohds, did your status change to "Inline for an interview"?

It is very frustrating to just wait.

I keep reminding myself that average processing time has been around 8 month (based on what I see in the forum here).

 

Obviously the estimate provided to us, is worse at 12+ month.

 

04/2006 - came to US as L1 employee

04/2010 - got married

11/2010 - submitted AOS package (I-130, I-485, I-765)

05/2011 - Welcome letter arrived in the mail

11/2017 - Filed for naturalization (Online Houston office)

11/2017 - Biometrics

06/2018 - Interview (passed)

06/2018 - Case approved notification

So I get an email from USCIS stating the following "USCIS has taken action on your application, petition or request and updated your account.  Please access your account to view the update." When I press the link nothing has changed? Has anybody seen this before?

Yes give it until tomorrow morning and check your status again.
