Joining this topic as I am another filer who will be going to Montgomery for my interview.. K1 AOS..

I have called twice. The first time I was told that my case was at the FO and I should receive an interview date around the beginning of March. Raised a SR and got nothing 30 days later so I called again. The woman on the end of the phone just kept repeating that I would have to wait and if I don’t hear anything by May 15th this year I can call again (PD May 15th 2017). She said my case was still at the NBC. So who do I believe? Conflicting answers and the latter IO just got agitated and refused to tell me why somebody can be ‘available’ to send a friend’s case from the NBC to Kansas within a month of her filing (she got approved 2 months after filing) but they can’t be ‘available’ to send mine 🤔

She just said that my case will wait there until somebody is available to send it to my local FO.. so basically what I knew already.

I put in another SR on Feb 24th and they have 8 days left to respond. So far nothing has changed and it is still being ignored even though the first IO said it rarely happens that SRs are ignored. Third time this has happened to me now and I am getting seriously frustrated.

I have my EAD but all I want from the SR is to know exactly where in the Country my case is! Is that so much to ask? Sigh..

My PD is April 10 2017 (AOS Marriage based)

Waiting for interview as  of Sept 1 2017

Yesterday, received email saying on April 6 2018 they scheduled my interview and will send me the notice in the mail (clearly it will be in May). As of today, nothing in the mail to confirm my interview date. Hope this at least gives you a sense of how long you will wait.

Thanks and Yes AOS.  I stated it in my post however, when I went for infopass in March, they did say Montgomery was going by PD's and not necessarily  types of application because they are under staffed. So I know some of us that are just AOS are watching any Montgomery posts and thought it would help a couple of people.

Thank you! Hopefully this will end soon...

PD is your priority date. So kind of like a place in line. Your PD date will be in July. It's the date USCIS received your application.

Don't think they are going by priority date that closely , our PD is 12/07/2016

Our PD was April 2017 and our RFE was received May 2017.

But on April 10th 2018 we received the same email, saying our interview was scheduled and they will send the notice!
