does anyone have any updates from the embassy?

I think they are closed for EID.   Our case was last updated on 8/17.   Status has not changed.

We had an update today.  Status didn't change.  It has updated the 15th, 17th and the 27th.

Hello peeps !

so my fiance's (k-1 visa) ceac status changed from IV to NIV on Aug 15 (case created date) along with case last updates, same as Aug 15. Since then the case last update has been changed 3 times, and stuck on Aug 28.

On other posts, i have seen people talking about when the status changes from IV to NIV, it takes just 2-3 days to get it issues but its different in my case, wondering if anyone else facing same thing?

Has anyone got their visa "issues" recently?

Is that the reason we dont see any visa issuance because there is also the numerical limit for the categories?

to best of knowledge: once petition date becomes "current" then applicant(s) actually eligible to receive US visa based on CO decision. so between Issued and Refused CO decision does matters (don't recall zalim samaj here :cry:because they are most humble and down to earth people on earth, hand picked as CO officers). date progression actually depends on numerical limits set aside for each category, so every month each consulate communicate across to NVC for next visa bulletin. once numerical limit is reached then further processing is halted and clearly mentioned in visa bulletin that "numerical limit is reached for category/year". someone with more accurate information feel free to correct.

zalim samaj! :bonk:
